Word: Formatting fields

I found that even though I made my cross-references use the Hyperlink style, the font formatting disappeared when I refreshed the fields.

1. Right-click on the field and select Edit Field.
2. Click Field codes (bottom left).
3. Add this switch to the end of the field code:

4. \* MERGEFORMAT

5. Click OK.
